Any type of difference can cause us to be uncomfortable and this is certainly true when it comes to disability, and particularly managing disability in the workplace. Whilst progress is being made in the disability and employment space, for many of us, disability remains an uncomfortable subject; we don’t know what to say, how to act and what is or isn’t appropriate to ask.

It is this discomfort that prevents us from accelerating the speed of progress that we’d like to make; it prevents us from engaging with individuals, understanding their needs, providing appropriate adjustments, and supporting them to realise their potential. It’s now time to move on, to see past a persons’ disability, and start making real progress in this area.

This webinar will provide delegates with the opportunity to understand more about disability, explore their concerns and to build their own confidence around language and behaviours.
