Please note this Webinar will now be finishing at 11.15am
With increasing numbers of students saying they had experienced poor mental health in their final year of study it is in the interests of employers to create ‘mentally healthy’ recruitment processes that enable these bright, ambitious and hardworking students to demonstrate their potential and gain the employment they seek.
However, what does ‘mentally healthy’ recruitment actually mean and what does it look like in practice?
During this webinar, delegates will be provided with insights into the 8 ‘mentally healthy recruitment standards for early careers’ that were developed by the City Mental Health Alliance, and what these mean for your recruitment process.
There will then be the opportunity to hear from employers who have made progress in this space. In addition to hearing about the changes to their processes that have been effective, our speakers will also share how they went about it and what was critical to their success.
In addition, there will be the opportunity to hear from a student about their experiences of managing their mental health during the recruitment process and what they look for from an employer in terms of demonstrating genuine support for the wellbeing of their employees.
During this webinar, delegates will have the opportunity to:
Understand more about what ‘mentally healthy’ recruitment means
Gain insights into the 8 ‘mentally healthy recruitment standards for early careers’
Learn what employers are doing to ensure they support applicants during the recruitment process
Hear from individuals who have first-hand experience of managing their poor mental health during the recruitment process
This webinar will be delivered by Helen Cooke, CEO of MyPlus. The webinar will be delivered in an interactive style and will provide the delegates with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and participate in discussions. The format will also enable delegates to learn from other working in this challenging space.
