MyPlus recently launched its' Student Recruitment Toolkit, ‘Recruiting talented disabled students: from engagement to onboarding’. The purpose of the toolkit being to help employers understand what being a disability confident student recruiter means in practice, and what the practical steps are to achieve this.
During this Disability Café Helen Cooke, Director of MyPlus Consulting, took delegates through the different parts of the toolkit and provided insights to help them determine where they currently benchmark. Delegates had the opportunity to consider what steps they would need to take in order to become disability confident. By the end of the Disability Café, they had the start of a plan to take forward to becoming fully disability confident in student recruitment.
